Sequencing Sales Manager My client is a leading research institute in the field of genomics and due to continued growth within the organisation there is now an opportunity for a Sequencing Sales manager to join their team. Key Responsibilities: To manage the interaction between both existing and potential clients of a high-throughput DNA sequencing facility. To manage project enquiries and respond to clients quickly and accurately. To increase the demand for the facility. To determine clients requirements. To negotiate on price, cost, delivery & specification with the client. To represent the company at events & conferences when needed. Ideal Candidate: Post-graduate degree or PhD in Genomics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics or a similar discipline. Ideally you will have a Marketing qualification. Responsibilities: - To deliver allocated NPD projects on time, within budget and to the brief. - To be the first point of contact for customers and to provide updates on project status and developments. - Formulation of various high quality toiletries & personal care products. - Ensure that products conform to all legal requirements. - Prepare all manufacturing & QC documents. - Help prepare product info files on all new products. - Help prepare the products to be scaled up to production batch sizes. NORTHERN UK, SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE My client is a leading manufacturer of antibodies and reagents and they are currently looking to recruit a Senior Sales Executive to help further develop the North, Scotland & Ireland territories. My client already has a lot of warm clients within this territory which you will inherit as you join the company however there is a lot of scope for further development within these areas. This position can be based either from their London sales office or it can be home based and the role will involve travelling into the territory for approximately 80% of the time. The role may involve some travelling into other territories. Role Key Objectives: Being an integral part and team player in achieving the overall Sales target for the Financial Year in the UK. Establish an understanding of and gain good knowledge of designated key customers/accounts in territory by using available sales data and gathering knowledge during time in the field. Spend approximately 80% of given time in the field talking to clients face to face. Assist Sales Manager in the organisation of, and attendance at, relevant industry exhibitions and conferences. Senior Bioinformatics Scientist My client is a leading developer of tools for the DNA modification and epigenetics market. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Bioinformatician to join their active R&D team. The Role: You will join the R&D team and be heavily involved in the development of my clients growing epigenetics product portfolio. The successful candidate should be skilled in the analysis of complex genomic datasets, experienced in identifying DNA biomarkers through designing experiments and manipulating data sets. Responsibilities: Work collaboratively to analyse and data mine R&D datasets for process development improvement purposes. Develop strategies and tests to strengthen my clients biomarker discovery activities. To develop in silico models that can be used to simulate appropriate performance criteria. Ideal Candidate: You will be educated to a postgraduate level (or equivalent experience) in Bioinformatics, Genomics or a relevant discipline. Experience with managing and analyzing large genomic datasets. Experience in high-throughput sequencing and array platforms and familiar with epigenetics & DNA modifications (Essential). Experience in designing biomarker panels for diseases such as cancer, diabetes & neurodegenerative diseases (Advantageous). Experience with one or more of the following; Java, Python or Perl. Regulatory Affairs Associate My client is a leading medical device company based in the Midlands and due to an exciting period of growth they are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Associate to join their team. The Role: You will work as a member of the Regulatory team alongside the Senior Regulatory Affairs Officer. - You will assist in the development and execution of all regulatory filings including 510(k) submissions and CE Mark submissions of technical files & design dossiers. - Work closely alongside the NPD, QA & Ops teams. - Perform post market surveillance duties. - Assist customers with their regulatory strategies and compliance via provision or information & documentation. Ideal candidate: - Ideally you will be educated to degree level in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline. - You will have a minimum 1-2 years of experience within Regulatory Affairs in a medical device environment. - Knowledge of medical device directive 93/42/EEC and EN ISO 13485:2003 quality management system. - Able to work independently without supervision. - Experience in the development of new products from concept to industrial application would be advantageous. QC Micro Analyst My client is a leading global pharmaceutical company and due to expansion they are now looking for a QC Micro Analyst. Key Responsibilities: Keep to EHS and cGMP requirements when working within the laboratory and the office and sore completed laboratory documentation to regulations and within a timely manner. Carry out all aspects of sample handling. E.G. sample receipt, storage and disposal as per required procedures. Perform a second person verification of analytical data created in QCL as per measures if authorised. Chemical/Microbial based analyses of purchased and manufactured materials, utilities/EM, stability samples and non-routine samples. Report and approve all results found using the standard laboratory systems making sure statistical monitoring charts are updated in a timely manner. Communicate with supervision/planners to prioritise workload to make sure OSSCE lead times and customer service levels are met. Write/Update/Review analytical workbooks, methods and procedures. Ideal Candidate Educated to degree level in a microbiology based discipline (or Equivalent) Experience within a GMP pharmaceutical microbiology laboratory. Ability to train QCL staff in the conduction of equipment calibrations, maintenance and IQ/OQ when required.
