Key Responsibilities: Develop existing accounts and create new business through strategic sales, commercial skills and sales excellence techniques. Create a business plan to develop and deliver maximum sales, volumes and profit. Visit key/opportunity/new/existing accounts to maintain a solid relationship. Supply Chain Team Leader Our client is a global manufacturer of polymer coatings based in the North West of England. Due to expansion within the company they are now looking for a Supply Chain Team Leader to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Making sure products are delivered on time and in full to the customer requirements. Develop and maintain positive relationships with key internal/external customers/suppliers in order to achieve the supply chain targets. Use the MRP system (currently AS400) to understand demand and to make sure the stock needed is available. Ensure Health and safety and Environment practices are adhered to in a timely action when in relation to any incidents and reporting requirements. Responsible for the security of uninterrupted supply of all materials. Develop and coordinate technical training for staff driving for continuous improvement within the supply chain process and standards as measured by KPIs. Set standards and continuously improving stock-taking processes. Manage inventory through scheduling/expediting with suppliers. Supervise a team of material planning, production planning and customer forecasting. Ideal Candidate: Educated to a degree standard (or equivalent) to a relevant scientific field. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) Knowledge of batch manufacturing is advantageous. Due to expansion within the company they are now looking for a Site Materials Planner/Buyer to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for making sure that products are delivered on time and up to customer requirements. Run MRP system, guaranteeing the Raw Materials needed are ordered within a timely and correct manner and planning forward orders with suppliers. Manage indirect purchases and processing the additional requests in terms of prices and the actual orders. Guarantee adherence to the Heath and Safety and Environment practices and timely actions in relation to any incidents and reporting requirements. Complete supplier audits when required making sure the process and procedure follow the best practice and support the demands of the business. Contribute in supplier meetings. Managing the master purchasing data records for suppliers and price files making sure that they are up to date and accurate. Placing orders for the direct materials and finished goods in line with the requirements of the business. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with the key internal/external customers/suppliers in order to achieve the supply chain targets. Continental Europe Sales Manager This role will be based in Cologne, Germany and will cover the Germany and Nordic region. Our client is a global manufacturer of polymer coatings. Due to expansion within the company they are now looking for a Continental Europe Sales Manager to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Manage both direct/indirect sales team activities making sure all sales revenue is maximised and sales targets are achieved. Strategize effective Business Plans for the specified geographical area and to plan 1/4ly reviews with both the Sales Director for EMEA and the companys business partners. Make sure there is a proactive approach to implementation of all Health and safety and security requirements. Run personal development plans and plan effective training/development for individuals and the team. Launch key opportunities, new and existing account procedures with company partners or for any direct sales activities. Contribute with the development strategy for the growth and any modification. Assist in the production of product design briefs required to meet business objectives. Set value levels and guidelines that will attain the correct balance between the turnover and profitability. Carry out demographic studies (territory audits) to form the most appropriate method of market entry, E.G. direct sales or distributor. Ideal Candidate: You will be educated to degree level in a relevant science field. Ability to apply technical/professional knowledge successfully to reach the desired results. QA & Supplier Auditing Assistant My client is a leading manufacturer of high quality ingredients for the food, health & nutrition, flavour & fragrance, and personal care industries. Due to an exciting phase of growth they are looking for a QA Assistant to join their growing team in London. Responsibilities: - Approving the supplier base by carrying out technical audits technical audits against quality audits including BRC & ISO. - To be a key member of the HACCP team, issuing and editing HACCP documentation. - To conduct product traceability and recall tests on FBSS System (Training will be provided. - Assist the QA Manager during the annual ISO9000/HACCP audit. - Dealing with customer quality complaints. Ideal Candidate: - Educated to degree level in Food Science or equivalent in experience. - Ideally you will have 3-5 years experience in a similar QA role. - You will have HACCP intermediate level (Level 3) certificate food manufacturer. - Familiar with general EU food legislation on food safety, contaminants, pesticides & food contact material. - Strong auditing skills in a technical role. Bioconjugation Scientist Perform and document antibody-small molecule conjugation studies using a range of linker chemistries. Understand and use excipients to facilitate conjugation and formulation studies. Perform post-conjugation purification using a range of chromatographic tools and analyses using HPLC, SDS-PAGE/Blotting, Immunoassays, UV-Vis spectroscopy. Develop, validate and use analytical methods to study ADCs. Understand and interpret Mass spectrometric and other bio-analytical data. Ideal Candidate: Educated to PhD level in Biochemistry or a similar discipline or the equivalent experience. You must have hands on experience working in either an academic or an industrial setting. The ability to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary, collaborative, high-pressure environment is essential. Require robust and accurate experimental report writing, electronic data management, preparation of SOPs, batch reports and internal/external study reports. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Bioinformatician to join their active R&D team. The Role: You will join the R&D team and be heavily involved in the development of my clients growing epigenetics product portfolio. The successful candidate should be skilled in the analysis of complex genomic datasets, experienced in identifying DNA biomarkers through designing experiments and manipulating data sets. Responsibilities: Work collaboratively to analyse and data mine R&D datasets for process development improvement purposes. Develop strategies and tests to strengthen my clients biomarker discovery activities. To develop in silico models that can be used to simulate appropriate performance criteria. Ideal Candidate: You will be educated to a postgraduate level (or equivalent experience) in Bioinformatics, Genomics or a relevant discipline. Experience with managing and analyzing large genomic datasets. Experience in high-throughput sequencing and array platforms and familiar with epigenetics & DNA modifications (Essential). Key Responsibilities: Support specific projects across the business working to set timescales and keeping to a high level of technical knowledge. Support the business with the development of new and existing business within agreed market areas whilst keeping to the technical integrity of the company. Give technical support/advice to customers in all forms of communication within in a realistic timescale. Ensure all customer complaints are investigated and resolved in a professional and technically correct manner. Plan and carry out trials of the company products for customers keeping to a professional method. Give technically correct and accurate reports, literature and specifications for customers to use. Maintain and update management systems with, progress achieved, current workloads, record commitments made and make sure this is reviewed regularly with the Technical Service Manager. Make sure all work is within the agreed Health & Safety/Environmental guidelines. Travel to customer sites when required to resolve any issues or queries locally.
