An American software firm is set to open up 75 new in Northern Ireland, adding its weight to a wave of investment in the region.
Recently bought out by the New York stock exchange for a huge $200 million (£100 million) price tag, Wombat Financial Software has announced its plans for more UK recruitment.
The company is a specialist in the development of software for global financial markets and new investment in its Belfast base will bring its workforce up to 175 by 2010 from 100 at present.
Northern Irish first minister Ian Paisley said: "This week, we have an opportunity to showcase Northern Ireland as an investment location to some of the world's most prestigious companies.
