Friday 13th June 2008 Office development brings administration jobs

Over 100 jobs in administration could be created following the construction of a new office development, reports the Cumberland News.
Up to 150 administration jobs will be generated after Gladman Developments started work on their office development project at Port Road Business Park in Carlisle.
David Smith, of Gladman Developments, told the Cumberland News: "Our research shows that there is a lack of new purpose-built office accommodation in this part of Carlisle."
Small businesses and investors are being encouraged to buy office space at the development located at a former industrial site.
"Businesses are generally very keen to own offices with their own front door. The Sidings and the remaining space at Clifford Court will fulfil that desire, although for busineses looking to rent, leases are still available in both locations too," Mr Smith told the newspaper.
Gladman Developments has recently completed a similar office development costing £11 million in Kingstown.
