Thursday 3rd July 2008 Highstreet store will bring retail jobs to Brierley Hill

Jobs in retail will be created in Brierley Hill when a retail giant opens a new store in the area this month, the Express and Star has reported.
Around 16 jobs in retail have been generated following Woolworth's decision to open a new store in the Midland town's Moor Centre as part of a nationwide expansion initiative.
Spokeswoman Abi Perkins told the Express and Star: "The reasoning behind opening a new store in Brierley Hill is that we believe it to be a new opportunity in the right town and in the right property."
Jobs in retail will become available when the store is opened on July 24th with the public invited to attend the opening.
Speaking to the Express and Star, store manager Peter Foster, said: "The team is extremely excited and cant wait to open the doors and welcome customers. We have great product ranges to offer as well as an in-store ordering system and are certain that customers wont be disappointed."
Woolworths employs thousands of people in retail jobs in its 817 stores across the UK, according to the company website.
