Friday 4th July 2008 Retail jobs created in Blackpool

Jobs in retail will be available in Blackpool when a budget hardware store opens next week, reports the Blackpool Gazette.
Over 40 jobs in retail will be created when Home Bargains moves into the former Somerfield supermarket site on Tyldesley Road on July 12th as part of regional expansion plans.
Speaking to the Blackpool Gazette, Joe Morris, operations director at Home Bargains, said: "Home Bargains is thrilled to be opening a store in Blackpool after nearly two years away from the area."
Home Bargain's parent company TJ Morris employs over 4,000 people in jobs in retail across the UK in more than 150 stores.
"Our old store was very popular and we look forward to once again providing the people of Blackpool with well known household brands at exceptionally low prices," Mr Morris told the newspaper.
Low-cost shoe retailer Wynsors World of Shoes opened a new store on Tyldesley Road last week creating over 15 jobs in retail, according to the Blackpool Gazette.
