Wednesday 9th July 2008 Business park brings administration jobs to Darlington

Hundreds of jobs in administration are to become available at a business park in Darlington, the Northern Echo has reported.
Outsourcing company Liberata has announced it will bring 80 administration jobs to Morton Palms Business Park when it opens a new office at the complex while online search company Infoserve has said it will create 150 administration jobs at the complex in the coming years.
James Davany, office agent at Sanderson Weatherall, told the Northern Echo: "Morton Palms Business Park has been successful in attracting a number of highprofile occupiers and we are delighted to have Liberata on board at the latest phase, Pioneer Court."
Developer City and Northern has already invested £9 million in the business park which is home to prestigious businesses such as architect and designer Red Box.
"The scheme has further bolstered Morton Palms' presence as one of the region's most prestigious business locations and is receiving significant interest from both tenants and purchasers seeking a foothold in the area," Mr Davany told the Northern Echo.
Up to 500 further administration jobs have been created in Darlington after the Student Loans Company opened offices in the city two weeks ago.
