Thursday 7th August 2008 Administration jobs - Office park to create administration jobs in Wales

Hundreds of jobs in administration will be made in available in Wales when an office park development is completed, it has been reported. Around 400 jobs in administration are set to be created after developer TCN unveiled a £10 million plan for a 60,000 square foot office park site at Baglan Energy Park in Port Talbot. Derek Vaughan, leader of Neath Port Talbot Council, said: "I am delighted that Baglan Energy Park is bucking the economic trend and still attracting business and jobs to the area." TCN have said they expect part of the new development to be filled by Neath Port Talbot Council and the Welsh Assembly. Speaking to the BBC, Dr Dai Lloyd, Welsh assembly member, said: "It's tremendous news, you can't argue with the figures with regards to the new development at Baglan Energy Park." Over 1,600 people are currently employed in jobs at Baglan Energy Park for companies such as Amazon.
