Monday 18th August 2008 Sales jobs - Insurer creates sales jobs

Hundreds of jobs in sales are on offer in Norwich after insurer Norwich Union announced a recruitment drive, the Eastern Daily Press reported.
Up to 300 jobs in sales will be available at Norwich Union's call centre in Norwich which will see people deal with queries from new and existing customers on motor and home insurance.
Caroline Bugg, Norwich Union recruitment manager, told the Eastern Daily Press: "The type of people we are looking for must be able to deal with current customers' requests whilst also spotting the opportunity to suggest other products from our extensive range."
Potential applicants for the jobs in sales should have previous experience working in sales jobs, according to Norwich Union.
Norwich Union spokesman Louise Zucchi told the newspaper: "The jobs being recruited for are within our specialist sales and retention team, based at our office in Broadland Business Park, and are a result of the restructure of our operations division which we announced in June."
Norwich Union employs thousands of people in sales jobs across offices in 52 towns and cities in the UK.
