More jobs in retail will be made available at a retail park in Stafford after a major high street chain announced it would move into premises at the complex, the Express and Star has reported.
Clothes chain New Look has agreed to take residence at Stafford's Queens Retail Park at Queensville but has not confirmed how many retail jobs it will create in the process.
According to local politicians, the job market in Stafford is proving resilient in the face of the current economic climate and plenty more jobs are expected to be created in the region.
Councillor Doug Davis told the Express and Star: "It shows there is confidence in the future of Stafford. It is still a highly desirable area and there are opportunities here."
Travelodge has unveiled plans to build a 63-bed hotel in a scheme that will create 400 jobs at Hough Retail Park in Stafford.
"Growth is continuing to take place and we will see large growth over the next five years," Mr Davis told the newspaper.
