Wednesday 27th August 2008 Financial jobs - Bank generates financial jobs in Northern Ireland

Jobs in finance will be available in Northern Ireland after one of the 'big five' banks announced it will open new premises, it has been reported.
Up to 20 new jobs in finance are set to be created by December following HSBC's decision to open a new bank at Royal Avenue in Belfast as part of a national expansion initiative.
"This new opening is part of HSBC's continuing expansion plans. Northern Ireland has become increasingly global in outlook and people here, both locals and internationals, expect more from their bank," said Cecil Russell, HSBC regional director for Northern Ireland.
According to Mr Russell, the new finance jobs will contribute towards a better service for HSBC's customers in the Ulster capital.
"With a presence in over eighty countries worldwide HSBC is able to offer unrivalled access to international banking services as well as local expertise from professionals on the ground," he said.
HSBC plans to create more finance jobs by opening new branches in Northern Ireland over the next three years.
