Thursday 4th September 2008 Sales jobs - Call centre creates sales jobs

New jobs in sales will be coming to Scotland after a telebanking company announced expansion plans, reports the Strathspey and Badenoch Herald.
Telecom Service Centres (TSC) will see a "significant increase" in the number of people it employs in sales jobs at its base in Cairngorm Technology Park, following strong growth figures in 2007.
Gillian Brannan, TSC's local business manager, told the Herald: "We are particularly pleased to be bringing this good news to the area when there seems to be so much doom and gloom around on so many other fronts."
New TSC employees will have to deal with incoming calls from HSBC customers and the working hours are ideal for mums with all school holidays off, claims Ms Brannan.
"There are a huge number of potential employees out there. That is why we must integrate the community into TSC rather than the other way about. We must look at the demographics of the community and fit in," she told the newspaper.
TSC currently employs 125 full-time and part-time staff in jobs in sales at its contact centre in Aviemore.
