Hundreds of retail jobs will be created in Wales when high street giant Marks and Spencer opens its new multi-million pound store in Wrexham, the Daily Post has reported. More than 100 new retail jobs are predicted to be generated in the Welsh city after Marks and Spencer decided to replace its existing store on Hope Street as part of a national expansion initiative. Geraldine Parkin, Marks and Spencer Wrexham store manager, told the Daily Post: "We're delighted to be opening a brand new, bigger and better store in Wrexham, providing our customers with the very best M&S products in a fresh, new environment." "The store will create a great new shopping experience for the town and we're looking forward to inviting local shoppers in to the store on launch day." Marks and Spencer employs around 75,000 people in retail jobs in the UK and abroad, and has more than 600 stores in the UK. Click here for retail jobs
