The banker topped the group's 2009 list as the best place for lesbian and gay people to work in finance jobs. Hampshire Constabulary and Brighton & Hove City Council came second and third respectively. The award was decided following the largest ever survey of gay and lesbian employees. It revealed that employees in the top 25 performing firms were almost ten per cent more satisfied with their workplace than others.
