Our client are looking for a Property Services Officer responsible to the ordering manager on behalf of a local authority housing repairs team.
The role involves:
• Inspection of council properties to specify any repairs or improvements required
• Ensure repairs are carried out efficiently and to specification, in a timely manner
• Keeping within budgets, including confirming accuracy of any contractors' invoices to maximise efficiency
• Establishing good working relationships with contractors and suppliers
• BTEC Higher or equivalent AND 2 years building experience (including at least one year in maintenance)
£22000 - £28000/annum
Company van with fuel card
Pension up to 6%
Purpose of your Role
To undertake all assigned plumbing work to the required job standards and the customer’s reasonable expectations. To ensuing that jobs are completed in line with Health and Safety policy and guidelines at all times.
