My client is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to support a growing team, reporting to the Finance Manager.
In this role you will be:
- Managing the purchase ledger for all the invoices coming into the business
- Allocating costs to the correct NL code
- Carrying out the weekly payment run
- Reconciling the supplier statements and chasing where necessary
- General ad hoc office duties
To be considered for this role you will have previous experience carrying out a similar role in a busy finance department.
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on a 6-10 month contract based in Cambridgeshire.
The main purpose of the role will be to manage, process and send out supplier invoices which are normally at a level of 1,500 per month. You will also be required to reconcile supplier statements and chase up unapproved invoices, cash flow forecast, reconcile accounts payable at month end, process and check expenses and also to assist in month end activities where needed.
