You will need to have worked in a busy changing environment within an administration role in a prior position. You will be working with the material planner on a daily basis ensuring that all orders of components are up to date.
Ordering components through an in house system.
Chasing and challenging late deliveries.
Reporting issues and successes to materials planner
Good communication skills
Answering the company phone.

We are seeking a full time permanent purchase order clerk to assist within a busy purchasing department. Duties will include, placing purchase orders, arranging deliveries of goods to the factory, sorting out any delivery delays with suppliers by phone, all the administration with regards to procurement, data entry of orders on to their MRP system123 insight (training provided).
Successful candidates will need to be of strong character and able to cope working to tight deadlines under pressure. Procurement experience not essential however you will need to be able to demonstrate your transferable skills.
