Terms and Conditions between Candidates and CV-Library.

Definitions

"CV-Library": means CV-library Ltd, Beacon House, 10 Waterfront Business Park, Station Approach, Fleet, Hampshire, GU51 3TX.
"The Candidate": The person using this site for career related purposes.
"The Employer": The person using this site for recruitment purposes.

1. General disclaimer of liability for content

1.1 CV-Library is providing this site on an 'as is' basis and makes no representations or warranties of any kind with respect to this site or its contents and disclaims all such representations and warranties. In addition, CV-Library makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any purpose of the information and related graphics published in this site. The information contained in this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. All liability of CV-Library howsoever arising for any such inaccuracies or errors is expressly excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

1.2 Neither CV-Library nor any of its directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use of this site. This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.

1.3 Notwithstanding the foregoing, none of the exclusions and limitations in the clause are intended to limit any rights you may have as a consumer under local law or other statutory rights which may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit CV-Library's liability to you for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our employees or agents.

2. CV-Library Promises

2.1 CV-Library will permit the Candidate and Employer to access, use and interact with our site subject to these terms and conditions.

2.2 CV-Library shall:

2.2.1 exercise reasonable care in compiling our site

2.2.2 take the steps set out in the privacy policy to endeavour to secure any personal data the Candidate provides.

3. Variations

3.1 CV-Library reserves the right at any time without notice to revise the content of the site (including the services offered by CV-Library) and these terms and conditions. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be posted on the site and by continuing to use the site following any such change the Candidate will signify that you agree to be bound by the revised terms and conditions of use.

4. The use of information

4.1 Information will be collected and recorded in accordance with the privacy policy. The candidate acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms of our privacy policy.

4.2 The Candidate is liable be contacted by the Employer without intervention from CV- Library.

4.3 Employers may only use information supplied by us for the purposes of recruiting and shall not disclose any information to any third parties other than those directly related to the recruitment process of the candidate.

4.4 Any party using this service for any purpose other than those specifically stated in these Terms and Conditions shall immediately be banned from using this site.

4.5 Calls may be recorded for staff training purposes.

5. Enhanced Candidate Profile

5.1 We do not guarantee that by subscribing to an enhanced profile you will secure a job. This is simply a tool that will enhance your visibility to recruiters and employers and enable you to apply to jobs by email sooner.

5.2 We do not store your credit/debit card details. Payments are one-off payments and are not recurring.

5.3 For the avoidance of doubt, purchase of the enhanced candidate profile is optional, and you may search and apply to jobs on CV-Library.co.uk upon completion of your online CV at no charge.

6. Discrimination Policy

6.1 CV-Library does not discriminate against anyone registered to or using the CV-Library website. We try to ensure that all possible measures are taken to prevent any vacancies advertised or searches do not discriminate against age, disabilities, gender or race. The search tools in place on the site do not have the functionality to exclude any candidates with disabilities. It is down to the users themselves to ensure they comply with discrimination laws.
