Position: Finance Project Manager
Location: Chiswick, West London. Nearest tube stations are Gunnersbury and Chiswick Park.
Salary: £50K
Benefits: 10% target bonus, pension, private medical, 25 days holiday

ROLE:
The Project Manager will be given an excellent opportunity to be responsible for key strategic projects, from initiation to completion / hand over to the business as well as driving process improvements in the Finance function and selected Strategic Initiatives. The role will be reporting into the Leader for Finance and Strategic Initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Drive projects focused on designing/improving critical finance processes.
b) Assist CFO and Leader for Finance and Strategic Initiatives in establishing and managing process metrics for finance by working with all finance functions – identify and implement both short and long term process improvements, ensuring alignment with the business's system projects in process.
c) Lead and implement business wide change initiatives whilst working with the CFO, Finance Leaders, cross-functional and team members on overall project strategy.
d) Facilitate Workouts for Treasury, FP&A, Controllership, P&L and other finance teams.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Educated to degree level ideally within a finance or accountancy discipline.
b) Practical financial operations experience.
c) Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
d) Demonstrated leadership and team skills.
e) Ability to manage and coach others, regardless of reporting relationship.
f) Ability to drive projects to successful completion under tight deadlines.
g) Change agent with ability to influence at all levels.
e) Highly self-motivated with an ability to work independently.
f) Solid analytical / statistical background.
g) Substantial exposure to finance systems and/ or IT related projects.
h) Ability to bring together stakeholders across diverse functions and geographic regions.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
b) Proven project management skills.
c) Insurance industry experience.
d) Knowledge of the following methodologies LEAN / Six Sigma trained; Green Belt certified.
e) 2nd European Language.
f) CAP / Facilitation trained.
You may have had experience in the following roles: Finance Project Manager, Project Manager, Project Management, Project Team Leader, Project Coordinator, Qualified Account, Senior Accountant, PM, Change Management, Finance Business Analyst, Financial Business Analyst, Programme Manager etc.
