Job Title: Finance Manager
Reports to: Finance Director
ISS Division: London Division
Location: Circle

Context:
Within the UK, ISS provides facility services to customers through three operating Companies, ISS UK Ltd, ISS Facility Services Ltd and ISS Mediclean Ltd and all are focussed on particular market segments.

Job Purpose:
Supporting the Finance Director on provision of a financial framework for the London division in order to measure and guide business performance, ensuring that business processes are conducted in accordance with ISS corporate policies and in a way which protects and enhances the image and reputation of ISS.


Key Responsibilities:
„« Provision of realistic evaluations of investment and expansion proposals
„« To ensure that historical and future performance data is available to enable the business to make informed decisions on future actions.
„« To ensure prudent management of cash flow.
„« To support and maintain such organisational arrangements for operations, sales, and support functions as may be necessary.
„« To provide motivation, leadership and direction within the finance team to ensure the achievement of targets.
„« To ensure compliance with statutory and corporate requirements.
„« To work co-operatively with other business sectors and support functions within the ISS Group to promote and facilitate the achievement of company and corporate objectives.
„« To participate in such cross business projects and assignments as may be required.
„« To develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
„« To identify and respond flexibly to changing trends in the market so as to remain competitive and safeguard the long-term viability of the business.
„« Provide relevant Directors with Technical Financial advice.
„« Undertake ad-hoc finance project work
„« To ensure the ongoing development of employees within their responsibility, to establish succession plans for all key positions.
„« To coach and develop personnel in order to give them an understanding of the wider aspects of the business.
„« This job description is intended to frame the key responsibilities of the role, but in line with the Company‘¦s wish to encourage a flexible approach to work, you may be required to carry out other duties to meet the needs of the business


Qualifications:

„« Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2-3 years post qualified management accounting experience.

Experiences:

„« Good commercial background
„« Substantial knowledge of internal auditing processes
„« High level of knowledge of IT applications such as Excel


Skills:

„« Ability to effectively manage individuals.
„« Ability to support the Finance Director to manage all aspects of the provision of financial framework for the London Division with a sound appreciation of modern business processes and a commitment to best practice.
„« An ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external customers.
„« The ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, employees and teams at all levels.
„« The ability to inspire confidence in their ability and the quality of their advice.
„« A demonstrated clear understanding of the competencies relating to the role (treasury, financial control).
