Description		Great opportunity to work for an established Insurance Company Our client is a recognised leader in insurance and financial services and has been for more than 15 years, with a consistent growth record. They are experts in the field of insurance services for commercial enterprise and private individuals, pensions of every kind and investment management. Due to the growth and expansion of the company, they are now looking to recruit a Claims Technician. The successful candidate will handle commercial and personal lines claims. The work involves handling the notification of a claim, negotiation with insurers, general administration, maintenance of the customer and policy database, managing the claims process and settlement of claims. Contact is with customers and insurers by correspondence, email and telephone. The ideal person will have experience in claims handling environment and be qualified to Insurance Foundation Certificate level or above. Applications from those who are making progress towards this experience and qualification will be considered. An extensive training programme is available & a willingness to gain further insurance qualifications would be helpful. Essentially you will have a can-do approach to problem solving allied to good communication & PC skills & an eye for detail. Additionally the candidate will have an excellent telephone manner and be highly organised with an ability to prioritise and multi-task in a busy work environment. In return for this you will receive a competitive salary package + benefits.
