Description		Due to expansion, this audit and accounts firm is seeking an accounts supervisor � ideally ACA or ACCA qualified � for their Colchester office. Responsibilities will include: * Reviewing the work of 8 other members of accounts / audit staff * Assisting the Managers and Directors with ad hoc tasks as required * Leading audit teams * Preparing limited company, sole trader and partnership accounts within statutory deadlines for our larger and more complex clients * Considering the tax implications of all aspects of clients� affairs * Being the initial point of contact for certain clients * Assisting with the training and development of other staff The candidate will: * Be ACA/ACCA qualified * Have a high level of technical ability * Have experience of audit work * Have reviewed the work of more junior staff * Understand the commercial aspects of their work (i.e. Deadlines and Recovery) * Be results driven * Be career-minded and keen to progress to an Assistant Manager level and beyond For more information on this exciting new opportunity, please call Josh at Cooper Lomaz Recruitment 01284 701302.
