Description CREDIT ANALYST/CREDIT OFFICER (Risk Management) – Leasing & Asset Finance
Location: Glasgow
Basic Salary: £30K - £40K + Bonus + Benefits – Car Allowance + Pension + Medical Insurance + Group Life Cover etc

Our Client has over 40 years experience within the UK and abroad and offer tailor made financing solutions for Large Corporates, Mid Market Companies, Professionals, Small Business and Local Authorities.

They are now looking to appoint a Credit Analyst to join the Risk Management team. The main objective of this role will be the management and assessment of new business to ensure the Company’s lending criteria is adhered to. You will work closely with the Legal & Risk Manager, Credit Manager, Credit Staff and external customers.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• The assessment of new business to ensure that decision timescales required by the introducer are met.
• Support the Credit Manager to ensure all requirements of new business assessment and reporting are met.
• The ongoing review of procedures and processes for the assessment of all agency business with a view to streamlining and enhancing the systems.
• To assist in the management of corporate workout situations/problem accounts.
• Occassional asistance to Credit Manager in regard to new business proposals.

You will have the following knowledge and experience:
• Relevant degree such as MBA or CIMA or equivalent through experience.
• Finance company/bank experience gained over a number of years.
• Knowledge of the Company’s business
• Knowledge of standard asset based lending documentation
• IT Literate
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Ability to work under own initiative and as part of the team
• Ability to organise and manage working time with the ability to prioritise
