Job Title: Semi Senior/ Bookkeeper

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000

The Company:
I have been asked to recruit for my client who is an established medium sized, multi-sited firm of accountants in East Sussex. They are looking to recruit a Semi Senior/Bookkeeper.

The Responsibilities:
My client is look for a candidate who can work independently to produce accounts and bookkeeping.

Day to day duties include:
• Ability to independently prepare statements of profit and full accounts for review by partner for sole traders, partnerships and smaller/more basic limited companies.
• Experience & competence on Sage in order to deal with the bookkeeping for various clients.
• VAT returns preparation.
• Ability to produce management accounts.
• Experience of on-line filing of monthly CIS returns

The Candidate:
You will be required to have 5 years or more practice experience at a similar level, be able to work without supervision, have a good working knowledge of Sage payroll and Viztopia accounts production. Unfortunately they are looking for non-studiers, as there is no progression opportunities with this role.
