Provide technical security expertise to the Head of IT Security and the Chief Security and Business Continuity Officer. Particularly focusing on external penetration to internal networks and systems. Ensure cost effective, industry best practice security standards and technologies are implemented, commensurate with risk and regulatory requirements. Provide technical expertise within IT Projects throughout development cycle. Represent Information Security within various forums.
Actively involved in BC projects and managing risk you will fulfill the role in security as BCR Deputy
Conduct Security Penetration Testing on the organisations systems and networks, identify vulnerabilities and develop cost effective, practical solutions that mitigate the risks. Provide technical architectual enhancement for security improvements, throughout IT Design projects.
We expect the individual to have achieve degree level academic studies.
He/She will be experienced in enterprise security solutions for infrastructure and application architectures (e.g. Cisco Remote Access, RSA/SecureIDs, VPN & Firewalls, SecurID, Checkpoint, Symantec ESM, PKI, Cryptography, NAI Entercept, RSA Authentication and Penetration/Vulnerability Testing at Network and Host level).
Experience of conducting Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessments and Risk Assessments using best practicerisk management methodologies.
Experience of working in the financial services sector and US Banking Regulations and experience or knowledge of IBM & LCMG security policies and practices.
Technical security implementation and analysis experience in peer organisations.
Experience of managing or supporting Security investigations, including evidence gathering and analysis.
Experience of Source Code analysis tools and techniques.
