This branded FMCG business has experienced high growth and continued success throughout 2009 and 2010. They have developed strong product lines and dramatically increased their market share across Europe. They are setting up and developing a Shared Service Operation and looking to hire a Financial Accounting Manager to oversee the transition of all business unit financial accounting and statutory accounting processes.

Responsibilities

You will have direct control of financial accounting, statutory accounting, cost accounting, taxation, treasury, cash application functions for Europe. You will manage a team of supervisors to deliver the financial reporting requirements for all European selling affiliates and ensure that all corporate policies and procedures are adhered to.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a qualified ACA/ACCA and have gained their financial experience within a multi national FMCG environment. You will have held P&L responsibility for a business unit and managed large teams of transactional and part qualified/qualified staff. You will have excellent communication skills and you must have a second European language. Strong IT and systems skill are essential, specific knowledge of SAP is required.
