Group Accounting Manager

£80-85,000 + outstanding benefits + generous bonus

An instantly recognisable, global organisation, with offices in the UK and abroad, is recruiting for a Group Accounting Manager to join its team in Lincolnshire. A leading FMCG business, this role has occurred due to an exciting period of change which is expected to help continue the growth & expansion of the organisation. Reporting into the Finance Director you will ensure that the corporate reporting of the group financial performance is prepared to a consistently high standard and to the required timescales. Among the responsibilities will be: managing the adoption of IFRS and ensuring the group applies accounting policies; effective management of, and accounting for, group taxation; group budgets, forecasts and strategic planning; responsible for improving the efficiency and timing of group reporting;

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a technically strong, qualified Accountant with international corporate financial reporting experience and a thorough operational understanding of reporting under IFRS.
• Have previous experience in international accounting & financial consolidation in a Group role.
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate with strong influencing & project management skills.
• Have an understanding of UK/European taxation and company law.
