We are seeking an experienced individual who is capable of managing the accounts for a well established charity on the West Coast of Scotland. The role offers an excellent salary, the opportunity to work as part of a small team and the satisfaction of knowing that you are working for a charitable organisation.
The location is in Argyll on the West Coast and would suit someone who would like to combine their skills in Management Accounts or Book-keeping with a rural lifestyle, perhaps relocating from other parts of the UK.
The role involves dealing with:
• Order processing
• All aspects of invoicing
• Logging supplier invoices
• Payment of invoices
• Reconciliation of statements
• Production of monthly draft profit & loss
• Liaising with the Accountants to produce Annual Accounts
• General administrative duties
As this role is working as part of a small team the successful applicant will be required to be a good team player as well as able to work on their own initiative. Own transport is also essential.
Applications will be welcomed from anyone who has previous accounts or book-keeping experience, enthusiasm and good team skills, and who can demonstrate that they would be happy to commit to living and working in an extremely rural setting 16 miles from the nearest town and 95 miles from the nearest major city. An interest and enjoyment of the arts would be an advantage but is not essential.
