Finance Officer - Somerset - Salary 22K : 24K

ROLE
Reporting to the Technology Solutions advisor, the post holder will be responsible for supporting donors, NGOs, Government in developing countries and other users of aid information to increase the availability and accessibility of aid information.
The role involves helping to develop standards for aid information as part of the international aid Transparency initiative(IATI ) and working with the key stakeholder to modify their existing systems and processes to adopt the new standards.

EDUCATION
? Hold a recognised accounting qualification (e.g. qualified AAT or part qualified ACCA) or demonstrate qualification by experience
? At least 3 years practical experience in a similar environment/role
Knowledge/technical
? Good technical accounting skills and knowledge of VAT
? Proven history of managing and preparing budgets
? Advanced skills in MS Excel (using graphs, formulas etc) and experience of sage
? Good written and spoken English.
? Excellent interpersonal and networking skills coupled with the ability to build strong and lasting relationships with stake holders, clients and colleagues
? Confident and clear communication skills
? A self starter who can work independently with minimal support but can also work in a team environment

Package
SALARY - £22.5 - £24K

25 Days holiday, 35 hour weeks (9-5pm), pension after 3 months service.
