Payroll Software Support Consultant, Brighton, East Sussex
Key Responsibilities
To deal with support queries in a friendly, efficient and prompt manner ensuring that calls are either dealt with as quickly as possible or else to liaise with another member of staff to arrive at a satisfactory conclusion
Investigate and resolve payroll software problems experienced by software clients.
To provide support via telephone, email or by on-line support
Train clients on the use of Star Payroll software either on line, at client offices or classroom training at Star’s offices
Assist with design and testing of new/updated versions of Star Payroll Professional software
Create , edit and maintain payroll documentation
Attend and assist at Star Payroll Professional seminars as and when required
Design reports to run from Star Payroll Professional
Any other duties that may be required from time to time
Experience
A minimum of 2 years of working with or running a payroll system
A good understanding of the automatic functionality of payroll software
A working, but not necessarily expert knowledge, of Microsoft Windows and Office as well as one or more computerised payroll programs.
