Our client a public sector organisation in Somerset is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis for three months initially.

The role will involve providing comprehensive financial accounting service that will include financial system control, purchase ledger, sales ledger, general ledger, control account reconciliations and statutory accounts preparation. You will also be required to assist with agreeing and reconciling balances and analysing and monitoring financial data.

The successful candidate will have a background working within the public sector in a similar finance position and have strong MS Excel and reporting capabilities and effective communication skills.
