We are currently recruiting for an International financial services organisation that are seeking to employ an Assistant Accountant specialising in Sale Ledger with proven skills and abilities in this field.

This role is initially based in Bromley but there is a possibility that this could be moved to Sevenoaks so you must be flexible in regards to travel.

The role will be reporting to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day running of the Finance function inclusive of Sales Ledger duties.
Duties will include:
- Administering efficient and controlled accounts processes
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting information
- Providing regular analytical information to the business
- Issuing regular updates on debtor position to department representatives
- Carry out debt collection process, manually booking all non UK (currently CEE, Turkey, Western European and Irish) premiums
- Keeping detailed analysis of various streams of income, reconciling and paying brokers and liaising extensively with other managers within the business
- Assist the team with month end routines, attend departmental meetings and report on financial matters as and when required.

We are seeking applicants with the following proven skills and abilities
- Must have previous Sales Ledger experience
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
- Proven skills in cashiering
- Previous experience within a financial services organisation will be a distinct advantage
- Proven accounts reporting skills
- Excellent IT skills especially advanced Excel
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and handle pressure
- Have excellent all round internal and external communication skills
- Be flexible in regards to travel to locations and company office move
- Must be enthusiastic, self motivated and have a positive outlook to tasks in hand
