Vane Recruitment is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk/ Accounts Assistant /Accounts Payable Clerk to work with our client in the Portsmouth area. Immediate start available
The ideal candidate must have working experience of Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable and ideally have a sound accounts background
You must have recent experience in using SAGE line 50 and ideally from version 15-current
As a purchase ledger clerk/accounts assistant you will work within a commercial business as part of a small team and support with a wide variety of account duties
Predominantly you will manage the purchase ledger for the business managing 100's of invoices
You will manage CIS for the self-employed workers, reconcile payments and statements and produce reports for management showing cleared and outstanding funds
You will also assist with BAC's runs and banking and support the payroll team where necessary
Previous experience within Purchase Ledger and general accounts is essential.
We are looking for accounts individual who has worked with high volume invoices EG 100's on a weekly basis previously
Only applicants with the relevant experience need apply
CIS experience is an advantage although not essential
The hours are Mon to Fri 9-5, with 1 hrs lunch daily.
