Financial Services Consultant, IFA Organisation, Nottinghamshire
£28,000 - £35,000 per annum basic salary + benefits and bonus

My client is offering a unique and exciting proposition within the Independent Financial Services Industry. You will have the opportunity to join a leading financial services group, who have UK coverage and deal with both private and corporate clients for wealth management, corporate investment, employee benefits, group risk and much more.
As a Consultant, this particular role will be mainly ‘desk based’ and will utilise your technical skills, your enhanced communication skills and your ability to maintain and nurture client relationships. You will have the opportunity to present at seminars on occasion.
The role will be varied, in that the company have many extensive projects in force at any one time, and all of these projects will create your opportunity to provide sound, considered and professional advice and guidance to clients on many topics, including employee benefits, investment and retirement planning and pension de-risking to name but a few.
From high quality, qualified leads, you will be responsible for contacting existing clients, creating rapport, fact-finding, analysing clients’ current situations, researching and creating comprehensive financial planning reports.
Requirements for the role:
Full FPC or equivalent, and ideally Diploma qualified – you will undertake to be fully Diploma qualified within a specific period of time if not already at that level.
Confident and effective communication skills, particularly over the telephone, where most of your inter-action will take place
Ability to present to groups of people in a seminar situation
The Person:
It is envisaged that the ideal candidate may come from a Paraplanning background - someone who wishes to take that next step in their financial services career, or equally, a financial advisor/IFA who would prefer to return from a ‘field based role’ to a ‘desk based role’.
Previous experience within a Financial Services organisation is essential.
