This particular company is now looking for an experienced Finance Manager / Financial Controller who has ideally had exposure to some aspects of HR and compliance and legislative matters relating to accounting / finance, HR and data protection.

Typical duties on the financial side of things would include preparing monthly financial reconciliation and closing; preparation of month end management accounts, to include budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management; quarterly re-forecasting, detailed cash-flow analysis and banking; authorisation of all payments including payroll; VAT returns; the recommendation of new procedures and financial strategies; liaison with External Auditors and suppliers.

You will also be responsible for overseeing recruitment and employee relations at the company so some exposure to working in a HR department or overseeing / heavy involvement in such activities in your past roles is required.

An accounting qualification and an interest in technology would be high desirable.
