Position: Insurance Technician
Location: Stockport, Cheshire
Salary: £18,000-£20,000

CDL is a leading supplier of software solutions to the UK insurance sector, providing our clients with the competitive edge in an increasingly aggressive marketplace. We are currently recruiting for experienced insurance professionals to join our team.

The role:
Working within our specialist Technical Support team to ensure the quality and accuracy of insurer products, this is an exciting opportunity to progress your insurance and technical knowledge.

With demonstrable experience of personal lines insurance and a keen attention to detail, you will be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess excellent communication and client facing skills. You will have a proven understanding of personal lines products and rating factors and be keen to learn in a challenging and fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities:
•Carrying out testing procedures within necessary timescales to ensure all errors are identified and corrected before products are released.
•Developing and maintaining high levels of underwriting competence and procedural knowledge.

Skills and experience:
•Experience in an insurance company or broking environment.
•Proven understanding of personal lines/scheme products and rating factors
•Computer literacy
•Experience of communication with line management and customers
•A-C GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English
