Our client is a large local government organisation and they are looking for an experienced finance assistant to join their team. This is initially a 6 month contract however this may be extended for the right person.
Our client is looking for someone to come on board and undertake project work to help support and streamline the work of the finance department with particular emphasis within the social services arena.
To be considered for this role you will possess a finance background preferably within a public sector environment with excellent skills and experience of working with word and excel as well as experience of setting up and closing bank accounts to receive benefits , pensions etc. You will also have experience of setting up deputyship and appointeeship cases as well as liaising with CoP, OPG and DWP.
