Purchase Ledger Clerk - Bristol
The Finance Division of this leading national Automotive Repair organisation seeks a talented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a dynamic team.
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
To process centrally Nationwide's purchase invoices, preferably with experience of dealing with company utility/rent/rates invoices.
MAIN TASKS
•Set up new Purchase Ledger accounts in accordance with approved procedures
•Receive and log invoices from the NCRC body shops and process using Pegasus Opera.
•Ensure all invoices are properly authorised by the Site Manager or appropriate person.
•Make weekly/monthly payments on designated accounts
•Ensure all Supplier statements are reconciled accurately and all differences resolved.
•Request invoices and credit notes from the supplier where due and ensure the correct authorisation is obtained
TECHNICAL JOB KNOWLEDGE
Key qualities required are a high degree of accuracy and timeliness. Must have the ability to liaise closely with key suppliers to resolve invoicing queries as well as being able to communicate effectively with remotely based bodyshop personnel when required. Must have previous experience of in depth statement reconciliation.
