Client Information
An opening for a Purchasing Manager has become available within a Global organization.

Job spec/duties
Reporting directly to the Regional Finance Director, you will:-
•Manage all suppliers and spend within the Medical Nutrition business (“Medical”) in the UK
•Own and lead the Purchasing Strategy for the UK. (Hands on and Strategic role)
•Spend responsibility covers : All indirect spend including marketing, goods & services, and logistics and a proportion of 3rd party direct sourcing
•Be responsible for Purchasing Excellence, Governance & Purchasing Processes within the business
•Manage all contractual issues
•Drive productivity/savings programs and advise on all major projects for all spend within the Business

Qualifications Required

•Graduate Level
•Commercially astute with a track record of delivery of sizeable benefits
•Proven executive and senior stakeholder influencing, engagement & management
•Extensive Purchasing/Procurement experience
•Previous experience at managing numerous Indirect Spend categories
•Supplier relation management
•Understanding of financial management including cost, revenue and profit.
•Project Management skills and experience
