Finance Manager

My client is looking for a Qualified Accountant to join their organisation as a Finance Manager.  This is a brand new role and therefore a hugely important appointment, which is part of the UK Exec’s vision for the future growth of the organisation. The organisation provides a truly unique specialist service, which makes the nature of this appointment critical.

The role itself will be both challenging and rewarding and will cover a wide range of financial activities from hands on book keeping, which will range from activities such as basic journal posting to financial planning and analysis to support future strategic objectives. Initially your role will be to develop and implement processes and procedures which will underpin the foundations of your finance department.  You will have leadership responsibilities for a part time accounting assistant who will be of great assistance for the more transactional activities.

The environment that you will be working in will be changing rapidly right from the word go and therefore having change experiences will be warmly received and will shape the way that you approach the differing situations that will occur.

Ideally you will have at least one to two years post qualification experience ACCA or ACA.  This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a move from practice into industry.
