Duties:
Assist Finance Manager
Purchase ledger
o Distribute invoices to managers for signoff and coding
o Input Invoices onto accounts software
o Create remittance proof lists
o Generate payments on accounts software
o Generate supplier payment sheets
o Take calls from suppliers and deal with enquiries
Sub-Contractors
o Log all invoices received
o Distribute invoices to managers for signoff and coding
o Verify new sub-contractors
o Work out CIS deductions
o Generate payments on accounts software
o Generate payment sheets
o Take calls from sub-contractors and deal with enquiries
o Monthly CIS reporting to HMRC
Sales ledger
o Enter invoices onto accounts software
o Distribute sales invoices to customers
Credit control
o Process payments received daily
o Update spread sheet
o Log receipts on accounts software
o Produce statements
o Produce letters
o Call Customers
o Keep call records
Administration
o Filing of all finance paperwork
o Daily bank reconciliations
o Banking
o Petty cash
Payroll
o Collation of weekly staff hours
o Holiday records
General office duties as required
Cover for other members of staff, Holidays/Absentees
Answering telephones (2 Companies)
