With a customer base of over 10,000 clients, CST seeks an experienced candidate to further develop and manage our Brand Communications, Trade Press Advertising and Marketing activities. The role covers development and execution of our advertising and marketing plan and is suited to a creative individual with a formal Design / Marketing qualification or 3+ years experience in a similar role. With proven experience in Brand Communications & Marketing you enjoy the challenge and satisfaction of creating quality work to a high standard. You have a positive outlook and are comfortable working to strict deadlines for advertising and exhibitions. With your excellent communication skills you can comfortably represent the company to clients and suppliers alike. An intelligent self starter you can work autonomously or within a small team project to create and deploy the company�s marketing requirements. You are creative, enthusiastic and have a �hands-on� approach. Exhibitions are an important part of our marketing with approximately 8 per year in the UK. Other smaller shows will require logistics co-ordination of our stands and materials to site. Occasional photo shoots and case study interviews with clients out of the office. CST will be expanding their marketing activities in 2009 and the successful candidate will assist with the recruitment of their assistant with the design / marketing skill set to complement. Requirements: Excellent communication skills both written and oral. Competent user of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Publisher). User of Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Acrobat 8 Professional & PageMaker Knowledge of FTP preferred but not essential (website updating). Copy writing, graphic creation and branding. Strong analytical skills for marketing KPI's. Knowledge of E-mail Marketing Programs. Knowledge of website stats systems Basic photography experience preferred to view/ manage professional shoots and product shots Liaison - work with our external Creative Design and PR Agency suppliers to fulfill requirements (The Stream and Publicity Works) Communications - Brief and design for brochures, stand graphics etc. Assist PR agency with correct copywriting for case studies. Prepare marketing collateral UK business and EAME re-sellers & distributors. Exhibitions - Design brief for exhibition contractors. You will undertake the project management of all exhibitions including pre-show compliance. On occasion (approx 3-5 times per year) you will be required to work on a weekend DAY to set-up the marketing POS with the sales team on the stand and sign off contractor build. You will then attend the show to represent the company, meet customers and report on feedback. Advertising - You will work with various trade press for advertising, advertorials and editorials. Co-ordinate brief to Agency. Direct Mail - Work with the Sales Manager to organise small B2B drop mail and e-direct shots to existing customer base and new prospects. Draft marketing mail and graphics. Knowledge and working experience with a small use E-mail marketing system preferred. Reporting and KPI target web statistics monitoring. Website - Assist designer with the update of our B2B website and review statistics for market review and planning. Work with 3rd party Web optimisation to ensure keywords are targeted in search engines. Branding - Branding of our in-house materials, PPT presentation for client/industry presentations. Design and create artwork for small product samples (see our website for products with labels / graphics) Intranet - The Company is Phase 1 of intranet build. You will work with IT to produce graphical content and how to upload company newsletters, employee news and blogs etc. Reporting - Reporting and KPI analysis on related activities.
