Salary/Rate:Up to £30,000 + O/T
Area: Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire Borders
Our client a manufacturer of point of sale and display systems for the Retail Industry are now seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their existing team.
The successful applicants will be required to produce Designs using various material types including Metal, Wood, Acrylic and Plastics. You will be working on a number of Projects at any one time with a turnaround of between 2 and 6 weeks.
This is an interesting position with new challenges on a daily basis due to a large number of their designs specifically produced to customer requirements.
To apply for this position you will have used a 3D design package of some kind, so Solidworks would be desirable but not essential. The proven ability to produce Designs of Shelving, Racking, point of sale desks and general display systems would also be a distinct advantage for this position or the ability to design component parts with different materials.
