Description Mechanical Draughtsperson

A well-respected manufacturer and supplier of high quality electromechanical products are currently seeking to employ a Mechanical Draughtsperson.

The main purpose of this job is to prepare and produce mechanical drawings and to write specifications for special electrical products to enable them to be quoted.
Ideally your educational background would include BTEC ONC/D mechanical or electrical engineering.
You will be required to have AutoCAD 2008 and a minimum of 5 years experience as a drafts-person.
Ideally the candidate will be conversant with ISO 9001 quality standards and have knowledge of sheet metal components.
We are looking for good communication skills both written and verbal.
Familiarity with IEE regulations would be an advantage.

Salary & Benefits
Starting salary of circa £25,000 pa.
Benefits include 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, child care vouchers, private medical cover and excellent pension and life Assurance schemes (subject to terms).
