Description		MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (ELECTRICAL) Responsible for providing the interface between the avionics engineers and the manufacturing operators, working primarily within the Electrical Intergration Group, under the guidance of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Electrical). Tasks include the generation of wiring diagrams and cable assemblies using Mentor Graphics, creating and provisioning bills-of-material, creating manufacturing operation instructions and producing estimates of man-hours for the group activities and the electrical manufacture. The electrical manufacture ranges from development and test through to batch production, using a variety of different processes as appropriate to the task. The role involves considerable liaison with structural engineers, manufacturing and aircraft installation staff. Candidates must be able to work within a busy environment, have a working knowledge of CAD systems and be conversant with electrical manufacturing processes and aircraft electrical installations.
