Description Job Title: Quality / Improvement Engineer
Location: Cornwall
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

An international engineering company require a Quality / Continuous Improvement Engineer for their site in Cornwall.

The responsibilities of the role are as follows:

· The supervision of Quality Engineering, Quality Control as they relate to Industrial parts.
· To ensure quality activities are operated in compliance with the procedures contained in the Quality Manual and to ensure their effectiveness
· To perform Special Process Qualifications and other Product Audits in order to maintain the Quality Management System
· To review and authorise release documentation
· To co-ordinate the identification and evaluation of quality problems and to initiate, recommend and provide effective solutions

To fulfil these requirements you must have the following skills / experience:

· Qualified to HNC level (or equivalent)
· Knowledge of Quality Systems (TS 16949)
· Knowledge of Quality Control / Continuous Improvement techniques
· Logical approach to problem solving
· Excellent communication skills
