Description The Role:

Reporting to the Design Manager, you will be predominantly responsible for the design of components using CATIA V4 / 5, SDRC Ideas or similar 3D CAD design modelling packages. In addition you will also be responsible for updating and maintain engineering / timing requirements including extensive liaison with customer engineers. Preparing and maintaining required documentation which includes DFMEA, Design Reviews and Project Development Records.

The Candidate:

As the successful applicant you will be qualified to HND or degree level with a proven track record in designing products / components from within a high volume manufacturing environment. Your design experience must include a thorough hands on working knowledge of 3D CAD design / modelling packages, ideally CATIA V4 / 5 or SDRC Ideas. In addition you will be creative and innovative pragmatic person who enjoys a challenge and problem solving.

Salary : up to £40,000 depending on skills and experience plus an extensive benefits and relocation package.
