Description Our client requires a Quality Engineer to manage the calibration of measuring and test equipment, manage the software library and review qualification documents and carry out defect investigations. The role will also include reviewing and approving QA aspects of the company's design data.

Review and approval of company test plans, procedures and reports.

Essential Experience :-

Aerospace Quality Engineer with avionics equipment/ electronics experience in both a military and civil environment.

Working knowledge of Quality systems applicable to EASA Part 21G, EASA Part 145 and AS9100.

Conversant with internal/external auditing techniques with a sound understanding of Quality Assurance as applied to engineering design practice and software development.

Experience desirable:-

Have the ability to plan, conduct and report on indepth defect investigations including recommendations for corrective and preventative actions.

Understanding of software development, software tools, design and coding. Basic understanding of MS Access.

Qualifications :-

MCQI or AMCQI
IRCA registered Lead Auditor or
sufficient experience within an aerospace QA environment.
