Title: Avionics Systems Engineer
Company Description
This exciting opportunity is to work within a growing division of a leading consultancy. They have a strong presence in the Aerospace, Defence and Nuclear markets. They provide a range of services including supportability engineering, safety engineering, systems engineering and project management services to a range of companies.
Position
The role will be leading a team of engineers engaged in the design and development of avionics systems on current and future aircraft (civil or military). You will familiar with all the aspects of avionics systems engineering from requirements capture, through systems design and test to equipment manufacture. You will be able to interact at technical and management level in advising and guiding the development of technical solutions.
Key Skills
Ideally the Avionics Systems Engineer will be Degree qualified or equivalent in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Systems Engineering, with sufficient and appropriate professional experience in engineering environments relevant to the aerospace sector.
Experience & Knowledge of some of the following:
Avionics systems design & Development
Requirements management
Systems architecture
Software assurance
Systems testing
Software development processes
Verification & Validation
Salary: £35-45K + Benefits
Location: Farnham, Surrey
