Our Client is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to provide leadership of all activities for an assigned territory and customer in England. This role is responsible for on-site program management support; relationship management; liaison between customer client. Your knowledge of the aerospace engine marketplace will be a plus. Duties will include, but not be limited to: Provides leadership to achieve a successful business development strategy, responsible for managing the relationship and acting as the liaison between major customers and Client across multiple divisions, products, and systems. Has revenue responsibility for capturing new business and maintaining existing business.
- Knowledge of engine marketplace; understands the competition, products, technology, etc.
- Program management skills; able to manage and coordinate activities on-site for major new program efforts and work across multiple divisions.
- Strategic thinker; able to understand complex business models and develop win-win solutions for the Client and customer; Results driven; able to influence others.
- Bachelors degree (BS) in Engineering or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through ten or more years of increasingly responsible experience.
- Background in technical sales or marketing, including five or more years of high-level program management and established contacts, with major revenue or scope of responsibility.
