Our client, a motor dealer group in Iraq has an immediate opportunity for a General Manager for their automotive business.
The Role
Full responsibility for all aspects of the dealership
Implement strategic vision for the brand through the formulation of market analyses, competitor and risk analysis
Create a business plan with emphasis on the key areas of the automotive business in respect of Sales, Aftersales and business development
Develop a team that excels in all areas within their remit Promote the brand and group positively through effective marketing and brand awareness
Demonstrate good operational controls on all departmental units
Meet with line managers on a regular basis to discuss departmental performance
Discuss variances from budget/forecast and understand reasons for shortfalls quickly through the use of financial reporting and KPI statistics
Provide the board with accurate financials and operational statistics for the business unit on a regular basis
Represent the brand in all media and manufacturer relations Who we're looking for
General Manager of a franchised dealer in the Gulf
Middle East experience and Arabic speaking is a distinct advantage
Holder of a Bachelor's degree
Analytical and financially literate
Proven leadership skills
Someone who will set standards and continue to raise the bar
